Condition: Acute gastroenteritis. Reason for visit: Vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration. Treatment outcome: Rapid improvement. Staff evaluation: Decisive and highly skilled. My child suddenly developed vomiting and diarrhea in the middle of the night and became lethargic, so we visited the emergency department at the Capital Institute of Pediatrics. The emergency physician acted efficiently, immediately ordering blood tests and intravenous rehydration. Shortly after the IV was started, the child fell asleep peacefully, and by the next morning, their energy had mostly recovered. The efficiency and professionalism of the medical staff were exceptional. Highly recommended.
