How we research, review, and source every claim

Our reviewer panel

Clinically-focused content is reviewed by licensed physicians and coordinators with operating experience in Chinese international departments. Non-clinical content (insurance, visa, pricing) is reviewed by coordinators who verify each claim against the public source listed.

Reviewer bylines and credentials appear on the articles they have reviewed. We do not publish anonymous testimonials or unverifiable star ratings.

Sourcing standards

• linkEvery hospital and insurance relationship links to its public source URL so you can verify it yourself.
• verifiedEach claim carries an evidence grade (A, A1, A2, B, C) and a "last verified" date.
• blockWe do not inherit hospital relationships across products, brands, or markets. A network at one insurer does not imply a network at another.
• gavelInsurance results are research, not a coverage promise. We always show the mandatory disclaimer and ask you to confirm with your insurer.

What we do when we are wrong

If you find an outdated or inaccurate claim, write to contact@medicaltochina.com. We log the report, re-check the source, and update or remove the claim within a reasonable review window.

Quarantined records (research that did not pass publication gates) are never shown on the public site. They exist only for audit and correction work.

Independence from providers

We charge patients a flat service fee and add zero markup to hospital bills. We do not take referral commissions from hospitals or insurers. This is why our hospital and insurance listings can include restrictions and exclusions without commercial pressure to hide them.
