Why I started MedicalToChina
I am not a doctor. Before MedicalToChina, I watched international patients try to navigate Chinese hospitals alone, armed with marketing brochures and price lists that were often incomplete or misleading. The information gap between what patients needed and what they could find was enormous, and the people who suffered most were the ones who could least afford to be misled.
So I built a non-clinical research and patient coordination service. We do not employ physicians and we do not give medical advice. What we do is research hospitals, verify accreditations, map insurance direct-billing, and coordinate the logistics so that patients arrive at the right international department with the right paperwork.
I will not promise you a cure, a discount, or a guaranteed outcome. I will promise you transparent pricing, honest answers when the news is bad, and a written estimate before you pay anything. If we cannot help you, we will tell you.
How our editorial team works
Researched
Our articles are researched and written by a non-clinical research team. They are then reviewed for factual accuracy against public sources such as WHO, hospital accreditation bodies, and peer-reviewed literature.
No paid placements
We do not accept paid hospital placements. Hospital listings are based on public accreditation data and our own research. We disclose how we make money on our About page.
Honest limits
When we do not know something, we say so. When data is incomplete or region-specific, we label it. We would rather publish less and be right than publish more and mislead you.

MedicalToChina is an independent medical travel information and patient coordination service. We do not employ physicians and we do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Zero marked-up medical fees
We do not add a margin to your hospital bill. You pay the hospital's own official international department rate, the same price a local patient would see. Our fee is a transparent service package, billed separately and shown to you in writing before you pay.
Independent editorial, no paid placements
Hospital listings are based on public accreditation data and our own research, not on referral commissions. We disclose how we make money on our About page.
